Job summary

Busy Bees North Phoenix Center in Phoenix, AZ, seeks a Lead Teacher to provide a home away from home for children aged 6 weeks through 12 years, following NAC guidelines and AZ standards. You will create age-appropriate curricula, curate engaging activities, and maintain a warm, safe environment for growth.

You will partner with families to plan the best care and education, ensuring clear communication with parents. This is a full-time position with benefits and no evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of experience in a licensed child care facility.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have LEVEL 1 Fingerprint Card.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children aged 6 weeks – 12 years.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum according to NAC standards and AZ Early Learning Standards.
• Curate programs and activities based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, safe environment that is clean and conducive to growth.
