Join our team as a Lead Preschool Teacher at Little Scholars Academy. We are a well-established early childhood education center dedicated to providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. Responsibilities include:

• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curricula aligned with state standards.
• Assessment: Use tools such as DRDPs, ASQs, and ERECEs to monitor and support children's progress.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a stimulating, organized, and safe learning environment.
• Lesson Planning and Instruction: Create engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning styles.
• Parent Communication: Regularly update parents on children's progress and milestones.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
• Child Safety: Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols.
• Professional Development: Stay informed on latest trends in early childhood education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (Child Development Teacher Permit preferred).
• State certification for preschool or early childhood education.
• Experience as a Lead Preschool Teacher in a licensed childcare setting.
• Proficiency with assessment tools such as DRDPs, ASQs, and ECERS.
• Strong classroom management skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
