• Qualified Preschool Teachers
• Infant / Toddler Teachers
• Teacher Assistants

The ideal candidate will have 12 ECE qualified units. We consider applicants with some ECE classes who are willing to enroll in additional courses to meet qualification requirements. We support our employees in obtaining necessary ECE units. Infant / Toddler teachers should have 3 units in infant/toddler care. Assistant teachers do not need ECE classes but should be willing to take required courses; we are happy to assist in this process.

We are willing to train candidates without experience who are a good fit for the role.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, managing, and supervising daily classroom activities and children, often assisted by another qualified or assistant teacher.
• Addressing concerns of parents, children, and staff appropriately.
• Maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and safety of the classroom environment.
• Counseling children with social, academic, or adjustment issues.
• Preparing and implementing lesson plans, programs, and schedules.
• Developing instructional aids and materials for activities.
• Assisting children during meal times and clean-up.
• Ensuring all equipment is in good condition and properly used and maintained.
• Organizing the classroom into interest areas and directing staff activities to ensure smooth operation.
• Communicating effectively with parents.
• Completing necessary paperwork, including daily notes, accident reports, attendance, and feeding/sleeping charts.
• Maintaining family information and classroom bulletin boards.
• Meeting state requirements, including medical exams, background checks, and physical ability to lift at least 40 pounds regularly.
