Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and explain safety rules and production orders.
• Experience with Lean and continuous improvement.
• Strong communication across shifts and departments.
• Proven success as a trainer.
• Proficient with rulers and measurement tools.
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Review job specifications for material and setup requirements.
• Perform or delegate setup tasks.
• Monitor equipment and product during runs to ensure quality.
• Troubleshoot moderately complex issues.
• Communicate during shift hand-offs.
• Evaluate equipment condition and involve maintenance as needed.
• Lead and train crew to optimize overall performance.
• Use computer-based workflow applications to manage files.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
