Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector III to act as the senior QC authority for precast and prestressed products and to lead plant quality programs.

You will prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals, supervise Level I and II inspectors, audit supplier plants, and resolve structural acceptance questions with engineers of record. Travel may be required for project assignments.

Qualifications

• PCI Level III certification current, with 6+ years of precast and prestressed QC including supervision.
• Command of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and state DOT precast and prestressed specifications.
• Experience preparing a plant for PCI certification and hosting the audit.
• Credible with plant managers, engineers of record, and DOT inspectors.

Responsabilités

• Establish and maintain plant QC programs and manuals to PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT requirements.
• Prepare plants for PCI certification audits and DOT approvals.
• Lead corrective actions.
• Resolve structural acceptance questions on prestressed products with the engineer of record.
• Audit supplier plants on behalf of owners and agencies.
• Qualify precast suppliers.
• Supervise and develop Level I and II inspectors across plants and projects.
