Job summary

Manchester Boys Club Inc. in Manchester, NH, seeks a JSYEC Pre-K Lead Teacher to plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction for ages 4–5. You will lead daily lessons, build nurturing relationships with children and families, and guide classroom aides.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of lead teaching or head teaching in Pre-K or preschool settings.
• Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and observation tools.
• Ability to mentor classroom aides and communicate with families.
• Maintain auto liability insurance; CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver developmentally appropriate daily lessons aligned with standards.
• Create a structured, print-rich classroom environment supporting development.
• Build warm relationships with children and families and supervise aides.
• Document progress, communicate with families, and maintain records.
• Coordinate with Pre-K Director to ensure licensing compliance and program goals.
• Support transitions and daily routines to promote independence.
