Job summary

Cadence Education seeks a PreK Lead Teacher (4 Year Old) to join our team of dedicated educators. You will create a safe, engaging classroom, plan and deliver developmentally appropriate curriculum, and support children with diverse needs including IEPs.

You will work under the School Director with a focus on family communication, licensing compliance, and professional development. Competitive hourly pay and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• State licensing requirements for Lead Teachers must be met.
• 6–12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Experience with IEPs or behavioral support plans is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming, inclusive classroom environment.
• Build positive, professional relationships with children and families.
• Recognize and respond to diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs.
• Plan, implement, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum.
• Use Cadence systems and tools to communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership.
• Maintain a safe and well-supervised classroom per policies and licensing.
• Document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per company policy.
• Follow all Cadence Education policies and standards in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional development.
