Job summary

MYR Energy Services, a subsidiary of MYR Group Inc., seeks a Pre-Construction Engineering Manager to oversee design for electrical substation, transmission, and distribution EPC projects from bidding through closeout. You will coordinate design subcontractors, procurement, and testing activities, interfacing with vendors and supporting owner reviews.

The role requires PE licensure, 7+ years in relevant projects, and a willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in design, engineering, or project management for electrical, transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
• PE license is required.
• Experience managing project teams or consultants is a plus.
• Construction or EPC project experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering for EPC electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects nationwide from bidding to closeout.
• Coordinate design engineering subcontractors and field liaison activities.
• Interface with vendors and manage procurement information and deliverables.
• Prepare engineering and equipment procurement requirements and schedules.
• Manage testing and commissioning for EPC projects.
