Job summary

Eaton’s Electrical Engineering Services & Systems division is seeking a Lead Power Distribution Controls Engineer to join our industry-leading team.

In this role, you’ll lead the execution of complex projects involving design, programming, installation, startup, and optimization of automated control and power management systems, working with customers to deliver reliable, efficient solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or higher with power distribution controls experience
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record
• PE License preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop PLC, data concentrator, and HMI software for automatic power transfer
• Follow customer and internal specifications for project implementation
• Create BOMs and provide direction to Electrical Designers
• Prepare SOO and test procedures
• Assist with factory testing and field start-ups
• Troubleshoot systems onsite and remotely
• Mentor engineers and manage project schedules and finances
