Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team. The role is hybrid, reporting to the Sr Engineering Manager, with close collaboration with leadership, customers, and cross-functional teams.

You will drive requirements, schedules, budgets, and CAM activities while ensuring compliance with technical requirements. The position emphasizes strong communication and problem-solving in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering/science).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project engineering, test engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with Control Account Management (CAM).

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including CAM activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing concerns
