Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer to lead design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systems at our Phoenix, AZ location on a hybrid schedule. You will guide junior engineers, define system requirements, and ensure safety, efficiency and sustainability in industrial operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, sciences, math).
• 4+ years in electrical and facility control systems engineering.
• 4+ years PLC programming with multiple hardware platforms.
• Emerson, Allen‑Bradley, Phoenix Contact and Automation Direct preferred.
• Ability to write software using object‑oriented approaches and Ladder Logic.
• Experience designing software from scratch and leading technical projects.
• Knowledge of UL508A, NFPA79, IEC, NEC electrical standards.

Responsabilidades

• Architect, develop and test PLC programs for new and existing equipment, documenting changes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Define controls system requirements and develop detailed specifications.
• Lead implementation and testing of new systems, coordinating with internal teams.
• Use AutoCAD Electrical to support/revise designs and create hardware‑fabrication drawings.
• Create clear, detailed documentation for operation, maintenance and repair.
