Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Portfolio Finance Analyst to support large Amercias projects in ERP setup, budgeting, purchasing, and documentation for commercial topics. You will work with Portfolio Finance Managers and Project Managers, applying accounting and project controls in a dynamic energy storage environment.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in a financial role on large projects, a BS in Accounting/Finance, strong Excel, and SAP S/4HANA or Primavera experience; US-based hours; be highly organized

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a financial role for large projects.
• BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or related experience.
• Ability to work US-based working hours.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with project accounting.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or Primavera is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide transactional SAP support including set-up of new projects and resource assignments.
• Provide SAP maintenance for project budgets, sales orders and milestone billings.
• Support the purchase order process including purchase requisition initiation, processing goods receipts and prepayments, and close coordination with accounts payable and external vendors.
• Assist in shipping processes (maintaining commercial invoices and proof of delivery).
• Assist in gathering information to support claims, liquidated damages, change orders, etc.
• Provide ad-hoc reconciliations, reporting and analysis.
• Assist in tax assessment process.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation.
