Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Plumbing Project Engineer to perform technical and project management duties under supervision. The role leads plumbing design on projects, coordinates with multiple disciplines, and ensures deliverables meet client scope and QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of engineering practices and standards within own discipline.
• Able to conceptualize building systems and their interactions.
• Reads and interprets technical docs and codes.

Responsibilities

• Develops advanced systems designs with limited supervision.
• Delegates tasks to project designers as appropriate.
• Prepares project deliverables per client scope and proposals.
• Coordinates with other disciplines to integrate design and client requests.
• Reviews shop drawings, RFIs, and coordination meetings; supports CA tasks.
• Acts as plumbing lead on projects as directed by the Project Manager.
