Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team is seeking a Senior Plumbing Engineer to support the delivery of complex plumbing and process system projects. This role balances hands-on design expertise with coordination across project teams in a hybrid Austin setting.

Your Capabilities include 10+ years of experience, a Texas PE license, and strong knowledge of plumbing codes, UFC criteria, and Revit-based building systems design. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing plumbing and process systems for large facilities.
• Texas PE license and CPD required; NCEES preferred.
• Ability to guide multidisciplinary project teams.
• Knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and design practices.
• Proficiency with Revit in building systems design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support complex plumbing projects including budgets and schedules.
• Provide technical guidance on plumbing and process system design.
• Stay current on plumbing codes and communicate updates to teams.
• Develop and maintain plumbing standards, details, and specifications.
• Ensure quality control throughout project execution.
• Coordinate with discipline leads and project teams.
• Assist with proposal reviews and workload forecasting.
