Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Plumbing Engineer to lead the design of plumbing and piping systems for diverse building projects. You will produce clear drawings and documentation, guide junior staff, and ensure code compliance across domestic water, sanitary, medical gases, and specialty systems.

Qualifications

Professional Engineering license required.
10+ years of experience in plumbing design.
LEED AP BD+C preferred.
Familiarity with BIM.
Proficient with Revit and modern engineering tools.

Responsibilities

Create and prepare designs for plumbing and medical gas systems.
Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Design plumbing systems including water, sanitary, storm, diesel & natural gas distribution, medical gas, and specialty lab gas systems.
Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings and prepare green rating system documentation.
Deliver projects across multiple delivery models and perform QA/QC on all phases.
