Job summary

You will collaborate with architects and other engineers, supervise tasks, and contribute to design development from concept through construction documents. Knowledge of codes, NFPA, UFC, and energy modeling is valued.

The role involves field surveys, Revit modeling, and system calculations, with opportunities for travel and professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (ABET-accredited).
• Minimum of 5 years in buildings design industry preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred.
• LEED certification preferred (Green Associate or AP).
• Field work may include exposure to elements.

Responsibilities

• Apply mechanical engineering skills to design and oversee building projects.
• Produce design documentation, drawings, and calculations.
• Coordinate design elements with other disciplines.
• Develop client presentations and meet project objectives.
• Perform energy and system calculations and prepare specifications.
