Job summary

Strategic Mission Critical seeks a Mid-Level Plumbing Engineer/Designer to design plumbing systems for data-center projects. You will generate plans in Revit, perform calculations, specify equipment, and collaborate with electrical, fire protection, and mechanical teams.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years’ experience in plumbing design, especially with large facilities, and can travel up to 20%. Excellent communication and mentoring skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of plumbing design experience, especially using Revit.
• Experience with large industrial/commercial buildings and mission-critical design is a plus.
• Familiar with design through construction administration, submittals, and site work.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams; familiarity with Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing design on mission-critical projects and coordinate with multi-discipline teams.
• Produce design documents in Revit from schematic design to construction.
• Perform plumbing calculations for sanitary, storm and domestic water systems.
• Travel to project sites ~10–20% as required and meet deadlines.
• Mentor junior engineers; interface with architecture, civil, structural teams.
