Marathon Petroleum Corporation in Findlay, Ohio seeks a Senior Platforms Engineer for the Refining IT Edge team to design, govern, and modernize secure, scalable hybrid and multi‑cloud platforms aligned with enterprise needs.

You will drive automation through Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and policy‑driven practices, leading cross‑functional programs and vendor partnerships to deliver measurable improvements in reliability and velocity.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience racking infrastructure hardware (Dell/HP) required.
• Experience with Linux/Windows Server, VMware, Hyper‑V/Nutanix, storage systems.

Responsabilidades

• Identify bottlenecks and optimize platform and system performance.
• Develop and improve troubleshooting procedures with vendors and cross‑functional teams.
• Lead backup planning and disaster recovery design and testing.
• Analyze performance data and recommend improvements.
• Design and configure complex platforms and hybrid/multi‑cloud infrastructure with IaC and CI/CD.
