Marathon Petroleum Company LP in Findlay, Ohio seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to shape and deliver transformative technology solutions across refining operations. You will partner with business leaders to define strategy, influence priorities, and drive enterprise-scale initiatives from concept through value realization.

This role involves Digital Twins, connected worker solutions, data platforms, and advanced analytics, bridging operational needs with technology innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems preferred, related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Experience required
• Experience leading complex business and technology initiatives in refining, manufacturing, industrial, or operational technology environments strongly preferred.
• Experience with Data Contextualization or Industrial Digital Twin technologies is preferred.
• Understanding of IT/OT convergence and integrating systems across industrial and enterprise environments is preferred.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders, build consensus, and drive change across large, matrixed organizations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, evaluation, and delivery of strategic digital initiatives that create measurable business value across Refining locations and processes.
• Leads improvement recommendations and presents effectively to senior and executive management and global teams.
• Presents and leads client meetings with the business and development teams and communicates with senior leaders for cross functional processes and applications.
• Provides recommendations for appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems.
• Partners with business teams to develop ways to investigate business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.
• Leads and serves as a senior resource on cost-benefit and ROI analyses for proposed systems to aid management.
• Serves as a resource to colleagues, mentors and helps improve the team’s abilities around ITSM disciplines.
• Leads the development, execution, and creation of cross functional testing strategy for technology delivery.
• Leads planning, conducting and documenting of user stories and feedback to senior leaders.
