Marathon Petroleum Corporation seeks a DevSecOps Platform Manager to lead the strategy, governance, modernization, and enterprise adoption of our DevOps platforms. You will guide the platforms, services, and practices enabling secure, scalable software delivery across Digital Product Delivery, Digital Technology Services, and Data, Analytics & AI teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
10+ years of diversified IT experience.
3+ years of direct or indirect leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Manages daily operations of the DevSecOps platforms team, guiding a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Plans and leads low- to medium-complexity IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery, within budget, and quality standards.
Ensures availability, reliability, and security of technology systems; collaborates with stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
Defines and drives the DevSecOps strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives, promoting fast, secure delivery, feedback, and learning.
Designs and manages enterprise-grade DevSecOps platforms—including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, IaC, and automated testing—alongside governance and security controls.
Embeds security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle, including code analysis, vulnerability scanning, secret detection, and policy enforcement.
Oversees platform reliability, scalability, cost efficiency, monitoring, alerting, and capacity planning; governs with ITSM principles.
