Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Leadman to supervise craft workers, guide foremen, and act as a journeyman for piping systems installation and maintenance. You will lay out, fabricate, assemble, and install piping and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment.

You will lead sequencing, select materials, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with other crews while delivering quality workmanship on complex steam and process facilities.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Works under immediate supervision and follows pre-established guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe type and size per job specs.
• Inspect site for obstructions and plan sequence to avoid conflicts.
• Cut, thread, bend, and mount pipes with tools and equipment.
• Install and maintain piping systems, supports, and fittings.
• Ensure safety rules and project guidelines are followed.
