Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a skilled supervisor for crew management in pipe installations in Richmond, Virginia. The ideal candidate will lead day-to-day activities, ensuring tasks are conducted safely and efficiently while working from isometric drawings.

Responsibilities include selecting materials, inspecting worksites, and executing installation of piping systems, as well as ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts and practices within the pipe installation field.
• Independent judgment required for daily tasks.
• Experience in planning work and delegating tasks to crew members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct crew to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Select appropriate materials based on job specifications.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and plan installations accordingly.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes as per specifications.
• Test piping systems for leaks.
