Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks an experienced crew supervisor to oversee piping installation and maintenance activities. You will read isometric drawings, select materials, plan sequences, and ensure safe, efficient execution of piping systems across industrial facilities.

The role requires independent judgement, the ability to lead a crew, and ensuring compliance with safety rules and project specifications. A strong understanding of fabrication and installation processes is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must understand concepts, practices and procedures in the field.
• Plan own work and delegate tasks to crew members to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
• Independent judgement on daily tasks required.
• Report to a site General Foreman and/or Site Manager.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials per job specifications.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and plan installation sequence.
• Cuts pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel or power tools.
• Thread and bend pipe using appropriate tools and machines.
• Mount hangers and brackets to support piping systems.
• Assemble and install pipes with appropriate joints and fittings.
• Secure pipes to structure with brackets and hangers.
• Install and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning piping systems.
• Test piping systems for leaks and observe gauges for indications.
