Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking a Leadman to lay out, fabricate, install, and maintain piping systems for industrial facilities in Texas. You will lead a crew, select pipe types, and ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards.

The role requires experience with piping, installations, welding, and daily supervision of craft workers, with a strong focus on coordinating activities and following project guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Follows instructions and established guidelines; under supervision.
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install and maintain piping systems and related equipment.
• Select type and size of pipe and supports according to job specs.
• Inspect site for obstructions and plan sequence to avoid them.
• Cut, thread, bend pipes; install hangers and brackets.
• Weld pipe supports to structural steel members.
• Test piping systems for leaks and observe gauges.
• Load, transport and unload materials; assist in lifting and securing pieces.
• Observe safety and project rules; perform other duties as required.
