Brown & Root Industrial Services seeks a Leadman to supervise and coordinate piping installation activities on industrial projects. You will provide leadership to craft workers, plan sequences, and ensure safety standards are met in all tasks.

The role requires hands-on pipe fabrication, installation, and testing of systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics. You will train crew members and collaborate with foremen to meet project goals.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent with experience in the field.
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures in the field.
• Follows instructions and pre-established guidelines; reports to supervisor.

Responsabilidades

• Selects type and size of pipe and related materials per job specs.
• Inspects worksite for obstructions.
• Plans installation sequence to avoid obstructions and other workers' activities.
• Cuts pipe using hacksaw and cutting tools; uses torch for cutting as needed.
• Threads pipes using threading machine; bends pipes with tools.
• Installs and secures pipe hangers/brackets; mounts fittings and supports.
• Welds pipe supports to steel members; checks systems for leaks.
