Job summary

Brown & Root Industrial Services is seeking an entry-level pipefitter helper to assist journeyman pipefitters in laying out, fabricating and installing piping systems for industrial facilities. You will cut, thread, bend pipe and install supports while observing safety requirements.

The role requires basic math, the ability to read plans, and the stamina to work at heights and in industrial environments. Preference given to candidates with 0–2 years' experience and a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Capable of planning and completing tasks safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman pipefitters in laying out, fabricating, assembling and installing piping systems.
• Inspect worksite for obstructions and plan installation sequences.
• Cut, thread and bend piping using appropriate tools.
• Mount hangers and brackets and assemble piping joints.
• Test piping systems for leaks and assist with maintenance.
• Observe safety rules and perform other duties as required.
