Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks a Physician Recruiter for faculty positions to manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with institutional leadership to attract top academic physicians.

This hybrid role emphasizes strategic sourcing, candidate management, and process optimization, ensuring a seamless, high-quality experience for candidates and hiring executives. Occasional onsite presence is expected to support faculty visits and team functions as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field.
• MBA or Master's degree is preferred.
• Seven years of HR experience including five years in sourcing and recruitment of academic faculty leadership and physicians.
• Experience in executive search firms is a plus.
• Onsite presence with hybrid work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Post and manage requisitions in the ATS.
• Track candidate progress in the ATS and communicate status updates.
• Update and maintain internal CRM system.
• Manage LinkedIn and other databases for candidates and prospects.
• Conduct interviews and keep candidates updated on status.
• Present screened candidates to hiring leaders and search committees.
• Extend offers and negotiate terms.
• Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the process.
