Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center seeks an Associate Vice President of Talent Recruitment to lead enterprise-wide recruitment, including physician and executive searches, and to shape workforce strategy with data-driven insights. This role partners with senior leadership to advance AI-enabled recruitment technologies, optimize processes, and ensure compliant, efficient onboarding.

A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s is preferred, with substantial HR leadership experience

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including at least seven years in strategic or executive leadership positions.
• Experience in a large academic hospital environment.
• Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field; Preferred: Master's degree in HR or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the organization's end-to-end talent recruitment strategy.
• Champion adoption of advanced recruitment technologies (ATS, AI-enabled sourcing, CRM, analytics).
• Establish and monitor talent acquisition metrics and dashboards and drive continuous improvement.
• Build relationships with executive leadership, hiring managers, and business unit leaders.
• Ensure recruitment practices comply with applicable laws and organizational policy; partner with Legal and Compliance.
