Job summary

PACS Group in the United States is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients within 24 hours of referral, develop and obtain approval for treatment plans, and guide patient care according to physician orders. You will supervise PT assistants and nursing staff, participate in care conferences, document progress, and assist in discharge planning and caregiver training.

Proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care is preferred; Bachelor\u2019s degree and state licensure required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and state licensure required.
• Experience with Casamba and Point Click Care preferred.
• Ability to supervise PT staff and coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours of physician referral and develop a treatment plan.
• Supervise PT assistants, aides and students in direct patient care.
• Document evaluations, daily treatment notes and progress in accordance with state practice act and payer requirements.
• Instruct families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training for discharge.
• Participate in discharge planning and care conferences.
