• Mastery of physical therapy documentation and Medicare/third-party payer requirements
• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours or 1 business day of referral
• Develop and obtain approval for treatment plans
• Supervise PT assistants and students
• Record evaluations and daily/weekly progress notes
• Discharge planning and caregiver training
• Order/deliver durable medical equipment when needed
• Participate in clinical conferences and in-services
