Job summary

Jobtailor in Bowling Green, OH is seeking a Plasmapheresis Technician to support donor safety and product quality through machine operation, monitoring, and strict SOP adherence.

You will set up and operate autopheresis machines, document production records, maintain equipment, and assist with donor care while following FDA, OSHA, CLIA, and CGMP standards. This role requires attention to detail and confidentiality in a busy donor center.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Obtains required state licensures or certifications where applicable.
• Typically requires 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions to complete assigned tasks.
• Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
• Ability to work standing for 6 to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs., with a maximum lift of 50 lbs.
• Correctable near and far vision requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in determining donor suitability for plasmapheresis before venipuncture
• Respond to and assist with donor reactions according to guidelines
• Monitor donors and equipment to ensure donor health and product quality

• Troubleshoot autopheresis machine displays and document exceptions
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of autopheresis machines and associated equipment
• Disconnect and dispose of contaminated disposable equipment
• Clean equipment and work areas between donors
