Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor with operations and patient services. The role requires expertise in sterile compounding, clinical pharmacy, and coordination of patient services.

You will supervise technician workflows, ensure compliance with state regulations, and contribute to process improvements while supporting a team of technicians and clinicians in a high-volume home infusion setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required.
• Must be licensed and/or registered (if required by state).
• Excellent organizational and mathematical calculation skills.
• Basic email and internet navigation skills, including browsing and forms submission.

Responsibilities

• Lead the pharmacy technician operations under the Pharmacist direction.
• Coordinate prescription processing and ensure sterile preparations meet safety and quality standards.
• Oversee inventory levels and liaise with vendors to resolve issues.
• Develop processes and scripts for patient inquiries to improve patient experience.
