Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Lead to oversee IV room operations and supervise technician staff in a fast-paced home infusion setting. You will develop and track operational goals, ensure compliance with policies and state regulations, and mentor staff on aseptic preparation, patient service, and quality control.

Candidates must have a CPhT, 5+ years of technician experience, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician experience required, including leadership.
• CPhT certification required; CSPT within 12 months if supervising.
• Must be licensed or registered as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Oversee smooth and accurate pharmacy technician operations in IV room.
• Develop operational goals and track progress toward them.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and state regulations.
• Develop new policies and procedures.
• Identify staffing needs and manage schedules.
• Interview and select new technicians; train staff.
• Prepare aseptic IV admixtures, including chemotherapy preparations.
• Maintain quality control for clean room and laminar flow hood activities.
• Ensure ability to function at an advanced practice level where allowed.
