Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and lead operations. Role covers compounding, clinical pharmacy, and coordination of patient services.

Responsibilities include overseeing prescription processing, inventory management, and policy development, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance. Minimum 3 years of tech experience and CPhT required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) is required.
• Must be licensed and/or registered as required by state.

Responsibilities

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing
• Ensures sterile preparations meet clinical needs and compliance standards
• Coordinates and prioritizes prescription processing
• Ability to function at an advanced practice level, if state allows
• Operational Oversight: creates technician schedules
• Analyzes operational data and recommends efficiency improvements
• Assists supervisor with policies and processes development
• Helps ensure training needs are met
• Inventory Maintenance: maintains accurate levels and resolves vendor issues
• Patient Support & Experience: develops processes & scripts for inquiries
