Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a Lead Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacy Technician Supervisor in leading operations, ensuring sterile preparations meet clinical needs, and coordinating patient services under state rules.

You will oversee scheduling, analyze data for efficiency, support policy development, and drive training to maintain high standards in a fast-paced home infusion setting. APharm role requires CPhT and active licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician required (CPhT).
• Must be licensed and/or registered (if required by state).

Responsibilities

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing: Ensures sterile preparations meet clinical needs, with quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinates and prioritizes prescription processing.
• Ability to function at an advanced practice level, if allowed per state regulations.
• Operational Oversight: Creates technician schedules; analyzes data to improve efficiency and accuracy; assists in policy/process development; ensures training needs are met.
• Inventory Maintenance: Leads activities to maintain accurate inventory levels; resolves vendor/supplier issues.
• Patient Support & Experience: Develops processes and scripts for patient inquiries.
