Mackenzie Stuart seeks an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead branch pharmacy operations for a national home infusion provider in Pleasanton, CA. The role covers clinical, operational, quality, and team-management responsibilities in a fast-paced home infusion setting.

The ideal candidate has a PharmD or MS in Pharmacy, a BS in Pharmacy, and at least five years of home infusion leadership experience, along with an active state license and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the relevant state.
• BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD or MS preferred.
• At least five years of home infusion experience.
• Strong knowledge of IV admixture and sterile compounding.
• Proven leadership overseeing pharmacy operations and staff.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day branch pharmacy operations ensuring safe, compliant service.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate pharmacists and support staff.
• Oversee sterile compounding, dispensing, and clinical pharmacy services.
• Coordinate workflow with distribution leadership and manage inventory.
• Support purchasing of medications, supplies, and equipment.
• Provide clinical pharmacist support as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of pharmacotherapy and home infusion best practices.
• Lead quality assurance and performance-improvement activities.
• Participate in recruiting, onboarding, and annual evaluations.
• Contribute to budgeting and financial/operational objectives.
