Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in OH or state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing and inventory management.
• Supervises pharmacists and technicians; handles recruitment, training, performance evaluations and on-call scheduling.
• Ensures adherence to regulations including State Boards of Pharmacy and USP <797/800> guidelines.
• Maintains clinical expertise in infusion therapies; collaborates with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participates in branch budgeting, workflow optimization and performance improvement initiatives.

What you'll do: Home Infusion Pharmacy Manager oversees daily pharmacy operations and clinical services for safe, home-based intravenous therapies. This role leads sterile compounding activities, manages pharmacy personnel, and ensures compliance with strict regulatory standards while driving branch profitability.

What you bring:

• Pharmacy Operations: Directs day-to-day activities, including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory management.
• Team Leadership: Supervises pharmacists and technicians, handling recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and on-call scheduling.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensures rigorous adherence to regulations, including State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP <797/800> compounding guidelines.
• Clinical Oversight: Maintains clinical expertise in infusion therapies, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient outcomes.
• Business & Strategy: Participates in branch budgeting, workflow optimization, and performance improvement initiatives.

• Education: A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program.

• Experience: 5-7 years of direct clinical and operations experience in a home infusion or acute care setting.
