Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist to oversee all compounding activities in the compounding laboratory and supervise technicians. This role ensures quality, safety, and regulatory compliance across the compounding process.

The ideal candidate holds a Pharmacist license in Arizona, degrees in Pharmacy, and strong knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and related guidelines. The shift runs from 6:30am to 5:00pm, with relocation support for qualified Arizona candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Doctorate in Pharmacy required.
• Active Pharmacist License in Arizona required.
• Experience with compounding labs and USP <795>, <800> guidelines preferred.
• Strong attention to documentation, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all compounding personnel and support staff.
• Perform and document compounding procedures and QC checks.
• Verify records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Train and evaluate compounding personnel.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of compounding equipment.
• Follow USP, BOP, and internal guidelines for compounded medications.
• Maintain a safety-first lab environment and PPE usage.
• Assist in patient consultations and pharmacist duties as needed.
• Collaborate with PIC on regulatory and compliance matters.
• Participate in CQI initiatives and audits.
