Job summary
NCBiotech in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Lab & Clean Utilities Technician to provide equipment troubleshooting and maintenance for production and QC operations. You will calibrate, maintain, and repair process, utility, CIP and automation systems, develop SOPs and PM plans, and document activities in SAP and change control workflows.
The role requires 5+ years in plant maintenance, GMP familiarity, ability to lift 50 lbs, and on-call nights/weekends.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of plant maintenance experience with instrumentation, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Experience in GMP manufacturing environments and cGMP compliance.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights; on-call rotations.
- Proficient with MS Office, PLCs, CMMS, and SAP.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and maintain process, utility, and automation equipment.
- Develop SOPs, ECRs, PM plans, calibration procedures.
- Manage SAP work orders, spare parts and equipment histories.
- Interface with Operations, Quality, and Engineering teams.
- Perform calibration (flow, temp, pressure, etc.) and preventive maintenance.
