Job summary

Equinox is seeking a Personal Training Manager (PTM) to lead the PT department at the club level, shaping team culture and driving performance. You will mentor trainers, oversee outreach, sales, and client engagement, and implement SOPs to support club operational excellence.

Responsibilities include driving monthly/yearly goals, leading training, developing cross‑department relationships, and promoting talent through structured career paths.

• Outgoing, collaborative personality to interact with members, clients and staff.
• Proven sales skills with focus on attracting new clients and retention.

Responsibilities

• Model servant leadership with trainers, club staff and members.
• Maintain friendliness and service standards in trainer interactions.
• Proactively act on business trends to meet monthly/annual goals.
• Implement operational SOPs and admin duties for client outreach and staff accountability.
• Craft and execute a monthly trainers’ forum.
• Lead sales training for new hires and those needing extra support.
• Develop relationships across departments to support the internal philosophy.
• Identify key talent to promote to higher roles and manage promotions.
• Foster continued education to ensure high standards and quality programming.
• Achieve and maintain headcount targets through interviewing and referrals.
