Equinox in Boston is seeking an Assistant Personal Training Manager to lead the PT department’s operational excellence and coach development. You will drive member engagement, foster high-performance teams, and partner with club leadership to grow revenue and deliver a category-of-one experience.

Ideal candidates bring current PT certification, CPR/AED, First Aid, and a drive to coach and develop staff while maintaining premium service standards in a luxury wellness environment.

Qualifications

• Current national PT certification, CPR/AED, First Aid.
• Exercise Science or Sports Management degree preferred.
• Proven ability to drive revenue and attract new clients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching capabilities.
• Experience developing and managing coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational excellence for the PT department and coach development.
• Collaborate with PT Manager and club leadership; drive member value and revenue.
• Oversee Equifit process, onboarding, and ongoing coach education.
• Organize weekly coach meetings and performance reviews; ensure standards.
• Foster relationships with members, staff, and key club partners.
