Job summary

Lowe's Foods in Hickory, NC is seeking a Shop Supervisor for the Lowes Foods To Go (LFTG) service. You will supervise a team of Personal Shoppers, ensure accurate order picking, and deliver engaging guest experiences while meeting safety and efficiency standards.

You will partner with the Guest Service Manager, coordinate schedules, train staff, monitor metrics, and communicate with guests by phone and email.

• Must lift 25 lb regularly and 50 lb occasionally.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with handheld devices and basic Microsoft Office.
• Troubleshooting basics with support teams.
• Knowledge of agricultural products and seasonality.
• Proficiency in Excel and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train and develop team members.
• Promote a friendly, energetic guest experience.
• Write effective schedules for the eCommerce team.
• Ensure sanitation and safety in the department.
• Motivate and educate the team on standards.
• Fulfill orders, communicate with guests, follow tech protocols.
• Operate department according to operational standards.
• Foster safety, efficiency and service.
• Publish and review business metrics and marketing execution.
• Provide training and quality inspections for Personal Shoppers.
• Notify management about stock and quality issues daily.
• Communicate service issues with Guest Care Center and store management.
• Reach guests by phone and email to ensure satisfaction.
• Provide in-store guest service as needed (bagging, locating products).
• Maintain professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Coordinate with LFTG Field Specialist for orientation and training.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
