Job summary

Lowes Foods To Go is hiring a Personal Shopper in Oak Ridge, NC. You will pick guest orders accurately and efficiently, while building relationships to understand needs and preferences.

This role provides hands-on experience in eCommerce, logistics, customer service, and grocery retail, with opportunities to contribute to marketing and outreach programs that support growth of our online ordering program.

Qualifications

• Friendly, energetic, genuine, and outgoing personality.
• Strong people skills with clear, professional communication.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and follow directions and instructions.
• Ability to walk, bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work with computers, handheld devices, and basic MS Office.
• Willingness to troubleshoot basic systems with support when needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick guests’ orders based on guidelines and best practices.
• Interact with guests in a genuine, fun, and interactive manner.
• Work efficiently when picking, staging, and fulfilling orders.
• Greet guests and review orders clearly.
• Bag, load, and handle orders safely and correctly.
• Record variances on guest pick lists.
• Maintain records for position and Lowes Foods To Go data.
• Perform basic maintenance on hardware and software.
• Maintain LFTG station and equipment.
• Report service issues to support resources and store management.
• Promote the program in-store and assist marketing efforts.
• Support community marketing activities occasionally.
• Provide in-store guest service as needed (bagging, locating products, cleaning).
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
• Fulfill any other duties assigned by management.
