Job summary

The City of Irving is seeking a Payroll Administrator to coordinate across departments for accurate and timely payroll processing, research payroll issues, and maintain HRIS data integrity.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or equivalent and five years of payroll/related accounting experience, including at least one year in a supervisory role; CPP is preferred but not required. Proficiency with MS Office and spreadsheets is required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Five years of progressively responsible payroll administration or related accounting experience.
• At least one year of supervisory or lead-role experience.
• CPP designation preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years processing payroll for 2,000+ employees.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and MS Office.
