Job summary

Allegiance Group is seeking an experienced Paving Project Manager to oversee asphalt paving and highway projects from preconstruction through to completion. The role emphasizes ownership, leadership of field teams and accountability for safety, quality and profitability across all project stages.

You will collaborate with field leadership, estimators, subcontractors and clients to drive performance while maintaining strong relationships with municipal and DOT stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience managing asphalt paving, highway construction or related heavy civil projects.
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, estimating and cost control.
• Experience coordinating field crews and managing multiple projects or work packages.
• Knowledge of paving operations, materials, production rates and construction sequencing.
• Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.
• A commercially minded approach with a proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Manage paving projects from planning and mobilization through to final completion.
• Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, schedules and profitability.
• Coordinate field operations, superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment.
• Ensure projects are delivered to the required quality standards and safety requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, DOT representatives and other project stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project risks, change orders and potential cost overruns.
• Monitor production rates, material usage and operational efficiency to maximize project performance.
