Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking an experienced Paving Project Manager in the Mid-Atlantic region to lead project plans, schedules, and field coordination with the project team. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and profitability across heavy civil construction projects.

We require a Civil Engineering or related degree with 5+ years in construction, including supervisory experience. OSHA 30 and a valid driver’s license are mandatory; FE/PE is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years construction experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience.
• FE or PE certification desirable.
• OSHA 30 hour required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Develops effective plans and schedules for constructing the project with the Superintendent and Project Team, and determines the means and methods necessary to meet project goals.
• Confirms that the plan will maximize production, guarantee quality, minimize costs, and promote safety to ensure project success.
• Ensures all work and materials meet Allan Myers workmanship standards and comply with contractual standards and specs.
• Monitors, directs, and coordinates project personnel to ensure progress on schedule and within budget.
• Manages project cost and overall profitability; maintains monthly P&L statements.
• Promotes teamwork, morale, and employee development with direct reports and crews through transparent communication.
• Maintains excellent client satisfaction through consistent communication and timely response to concerns.
• Implements and monitors Allan Myers Safety Program and coordinates activities to ensure regulatory compliance; ensures subcontractor compliance.
• Supervises Superintendents, Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and Project Administrators.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or related major or equivalent
