Job summary

Pave America is seeking a Paving Foreman to lead our asphalt paving crew across commercial, municipal, and residential projects. You will supervise daily operations, drive crew productivity, ensure high-quality workmanship, and enforce safety standards to deliver projects on time and on budget.

The role requires oversight of plans and specifications, effective leadership, and a track record of safety and quality control in the field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in asphalt paving.
• 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Ability to read blueprints, grades and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate the paving crew.
• Read and interpret project plans, grades and specs.
• Plan daily tasks and allocate resources (equipment and manpower).
• Monitor compaction, thickness, and smoothness of paving.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and PPE used.
• Complete detailed daily reports on work performed, materials, and labor hours.
