Job summary

CCI Health Services in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Lead Patient Representative to greet patients, manage front-desk operations, and supervise Patient Representatives to ensure high-quality, culturally sensitive care.

The role includes scheduling, check-in/check-out, billing support, training others, and coordinating with dental, family planning and behavioral health programs. This is an on-site position with occasional travel between CCI sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma; AA/BS preferred or commensurate experience.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two years of relevant work experience, preferably in a medical setting; internal PR experience with CCI preferred.
• Proficiency with CCI systems, programs, protocols and processes.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, answer phones, and direct to appropriate staff.
• Schedule appointments, confirm demographics, and update records in the system.
• Register patients, remind them of visits, and manage check-ins.
• Monitor reception areas and communicate delays or conflicts to the team.
• Assist with billing/collections and patient care instructions.
• Lead and train Patient Representatives, ensuring high-quality service.
• Coordinate clinic scheduling with Health Center Manager and programs.
• Occasional travel between CCI sites for coverage.
