Premier Health Partners P.C. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Lead Patient Services Representative (Receptionist) to work with the site manager and oversee the administrative support staff.

You will greet patients, verify demographics, manage appointments, handle insurance, EMR data entry, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering friendly, professional service to patients and families.

Competenze

• 3-5 years’ experience with customer service in a medical office.
• Knowledge in EMR and other medical office software.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures.
• Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for patients and their families.

Mansioni

• Greets and checks in patients; verify demographics, collect payments and co-pays.
• Answers and directs phone calls; triage urgent matters or other clinical needs.
• Oversee daily functions of administrative staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
• Coordinate and implement training for clerical staff; monitor performance and provide support.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar; reschedule or cancel as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and paper files; assist with chart retrieval.
