Job summary

AltaMed Health Services Corp. is seeking a Patient Advocate Services III to warmly welcome patients and manage front-office needs with compassion and respect.

The Lead will mentor the PSA team and support department goals while helping deliver patient-focused care with superb communication and problem-solving. The role requires a high school diploma, relevant healthcare or customer service experience, and a preferred leadership background with bilingual abilities to assist a diverse patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service or as a greeter/receptionist; 2 years preferred.
• Minimum 1 year leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 months as a PSA or related healthcare role required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred.
• Valid BLS certification or higher per AHA/Red Cross guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist all patients; create a positive front-office experience.
• Mentor and train PSA team; support department goals and objectives.
• Assist in delivering patient-focused care through strong communication and problem-solving.
